the gallery is flooded with black water
set at its centre is a steel-plated rectangle
a smaller pool with a fountain is set in the steel
a shower of atomised water forms a curtain around the inner pool
steel plates, with plexiglass set in front, are fixed to the walls behind the viewer
they are angled to catch the reflection of the water
short texts are printed onto both steel and plexiglass so that they intermingle
a mixture of fragmented personal narratives, objective descriptions of spas,
and 'polemical statements' - truth and fiction are indeterminate
it is silent except for the sound of water
